Lodge Phoenix is a distinguished Masonic Lodge, proudly holding the number 92 on the Register of the Grand Lodge of Tasmania.
It is affectionately recognized as “Lodge Phoenix No 92 TC.”
Remarkably, Lodge Phoenix No 92 TC is the first lodge consecrated in Tasmania this century, with its momentous ceremony taking place on Monday, March 13, 2006. This significant event was led by the then Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Tasmania, Most Worshipful Brother Julius E. Kearon, alongside a dedicated team of Grand Lodge Officers.
Each year, we celebrate the installation of a new Master, much like a chairman, in a special ceremony that honors our rich traditions. For those curious about our leadership history, a comprehensive list of past masters is readily available in the menu on the left.
As the very first European-style Masonic lodge in Tasmania, Lodge Phoenix No 92 TC embodies a unique and rewarding experience. Following each meeting’s formal Masonic business, we gather at a delightful local restaurant for dinner, where members can enjoy the company of friends and partners as cherished guests. Our Dining Lodge convenes on the second Tuesday of every even month, starting with the Installation Meeting in February and continuing through April, June, August, October, and finally December.
The second Tuesday of odd months is dedicated to board meetings and enriching Masonic education. We welcome all to our gatherings, opening our meetings (Tyle) at 6:00 PM with visitors and visiting Masters invited to join us.
For our special installation ceremonies, we begin at 5:00 PM, ensuring that all esteemed guests are present to share in the occasion. Join us in celebrating fellowship and the timeless traditions of Freemasonry!
